Major
At IUPUI I am majoring in Exercise Science, I chose this major because my involvement in sports during high school peaked my interest in fitness, and overall health and wellbeing. Along with this, the IUPUI Exercise Science program is a fantastic stepping stone for DPT programs, I have so many opportunities for hands on learning as well as obtaining a well rounded education that I can use to further my education for my doctorate.
Career Goals
Following graduation, I plan to attend graduate school to obtain my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I aspire to specialize in Pediatrics. My passion for rehabilitation began from attending therapy myself when I was younger. I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field due to my love for helping others. I chose rehabilitation because on this side of the medical field you witness almost every step of the healing and change lives, you can watch things that people thought were impossible. I want to specialize in pediatrics due to my love for children. I have always loved being around kids and changing the lives of the future.
